First 2028 Rankings: Top 100, The Injured, Biggest Movers(Free)
The Prep Girls Lacrosse Class of 2028 Top 100 Rankings are Live as of 8/28. The rankings also include 70 players on the National Watch List. (The Full Rankings Can Be Found Here.)
Prep Girls Lacrosse went to 22 EVENTS THIS SUMMER!
Player rankings are crafted with precise attention to specific standards of athleticism, skills, lacrosse IQ, and other core areas of importance. “Rankings are a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability.”
Prep Girls Lacrosse looks at players' college upside and projection at the college level. We are looking at the next 2-7 years while playing college lacrosse.
The top 13 players in the country were given 5-star ratings. Players ranked 14-100 were given a 4-star rating. The National Watchlist was composed of players receiving 4-star ratings and 3-star ratings.
Prep Girls Lacrosse rankings are prestigious and valuable, and each star rating given to players was intensively reviewed based on field play and through film evaluation.
We look at players and their college potential, upside, and projection in the next 2-7 years. There are players on the Top 100 and National Watch List that may be a Top 20 player in the country right now. That is not how Prep Girls Lacrosse ranks players. We look at how each specific player translates to the college level.

Top Players By Position:
Carcaterra has been the No. 1 Player in the Class of 2028 since the rankings came out in March 2026. She is a generational talent. The last time I thought someone was a generational talent was Chloe Humphrey. She can play all over the field. There is a swag to her game. There were numerous times that she was doubled this summer. Very intentional with her dodges. She gets to her spots and dodges. Similar to high-level college and NBA basketball players, they get to their spots and then attack their matchups.
Diehl looks like a college player. She plays like a college player. The Eagle Stix midfielder absorbs contact and can drive through a defense. Diehl is 2-handed and can score with both hands.
Murphy is a 6'2” goalie from Massachusetts. One of the best high school goalies I have ever seen. Super athletic and drops to the floor in the blink of an eye to stop a shot. She has the potential to be a program-changing player.
The HHH defender stands at 5'11” and is the highest-ranked defender in the Class of 2028. She is college-ready right now. She should have the green light in college with her ability to take the ball to the cage. When she takes the draw, she is automatic. Myers is also one of the top clearing defenders in the class.
