Ranked No. 55 for Prep Girls Lacrosse, New York’s Brooke Green Brooke Green 5'11" | Attack/Midfield | Right Hand Pelham Memorial | 2028 #55 Nation NY uses her height and size extremely well to create matchup problems around the cage. She refuses to let physical contact disrupt her dodges and releases her shot quickly from a difficult angle for goalies and defenders to anticipate. Green can also contribute at the draw circle, adding another valuable dimension to her game.

She is especially dangerous when operating from behind the goal. Green attacks from several angles, plays creatively, and consistently makes something happen when the ball is in her stick. She moves well within the offense and does not force plays when the defense sends help. Instead, she keeps her head up and finds the open teammate. Her combination of size, vision, and creativity makes her a threatening and well-rounded offensive player.

The attacker from N.Y. is a three sport athlete with a high upside. She is athletic and has a great frame at 5’11”. Green is an explosive dodger who absorbs contact on her way to the goal. She is a crafty dodger who can turn the corner quickly. She has different release points on her shot. Green can take the draw and come in off the circle. There is room for improvement in her game, which makes her value go up.

Green’s stock rose tremendously at the Top Threat Championships. A legit stud of a player who has a great frame for the next level. She can cook her defender behind at “X,” come upfield, turn the corner quickly, and score. A great step-down rip off the 8-meter. On the draw, she dominates and wins it to herself.

Brooke Green can flat-out score at will, and that was on full display Sunday in front of a crowded complex of Division I coaches. She was one of the purest scorers I saw all weekend. Green is crafty with the ball, showing off finishes from multiple angles that looked unfair to defend. She had a nice hesitation dodge into a bouncer goal on one possession, followed by a low-angle sidearm laser the next time down. Her height and longer reach allow her to extend through traffic and get her shot off at angles that are essentially uncontestable.

Green is a 5’11” attacker for Compass. She can definitely shoot the ball. On one possession, she had a nice cut to the goal with a hard, fast shot. On a different possession, she made a shot, falling down. This is a player who will fight her way to the goal.
