Peyla Carcaterra is a gritty 1v1 attacker who has a strong dodge and creates momentum anywhere on the field. She’s a strong, accurate shooter with a powerful release and is especially dangerous at 8 meters.

Carcaterra has a hard shot, good crease roll, and has an exceptional jump shot. She plays with a high lacrosse IQ, making smart reads on defense and great feeds.

Quick, explosive, and confident, she is a dynamic offensive threat every time she steps on the field.

Peyla Carcaterra Peyla Carcaterra Peyla Carcaterra 5'8" | Attack | Right Hand Sacred Heart Greenwich | 2028 #1 Nation CT has a lethal shot that even the quickest goalies have a hard time getting in front of. She has a complete offensive game, capable of taking defenders on in a multitude of creative ways. Or she can rip one from distance, which she did for Sacred Heart’s first goal of the game, an early equalizer to Maeve Irish Maeve Irish Maeve Irish 5'3" | Midfield/Attack | Left Hand Episcopal Academy | 2028 PA ‘s quick start.

She has been described as a natural scorer, one who the game comes easy to. But on Friday night, it was her ability to set up Sacred Heart’s offense and find the open player. Carcaterra finished with a game-high four assists, leading the charge against one of the best defenses in the nation. All told, she was involved in or responsible for five of Sacred Heart’s nine goals on Friday night.

A rising star, no doubt, Carcaterra can be considered a household name, and she hasn’t even reached the college level yet. She sits atop her class’s rankings at No. 1 and for good reason. Carcaterra is clearly a natural scorer with an instinct for the back of the net. She plays confidently around the crease with high-level shot selections and composure in tight games and spaces. Carcaterra is bound to be a name that we will hear more and more of each year.

Carcaterra is a different breed; she is a generational talent. No one plays like her in the Class of 2028; she is on her own pedestal. If Carcaterra is left on a 1v1 island, she will absolutely cook her defender. The Prime Time product moves like an elite basketball player. She changes speeds so quickly, and her change of direction is flawless. What makes her lethal is her ability to re-dodge after her initial dodge. What college coaches are going to love about Carcaterra is that she can play attack or midfield. She’s so comfortable when she plays, it’s a different level of swag. Her shot is top-tier. Carcaterra can get off a shot whenever she wants and has no problem creating her own shot. Her feeding is also at a high level. Carcaterra is must-watch TV. She is cinematic. You can’t predict what she is going to do on offense, so you need to buy a ticket to the Carcaterra show.
