Cant-Miss Players from HHH Committed Games

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — One of the most unique events of the summer, the Committed Games bring together coaching staffs from over 60 Division I programs with rosters made up of already committed 2026s and 2027s alongside drafted 2028s and 2029s. Committed players represent their future college programs on the field, providing a window into the future of a program while showing firsthand just how coachable a player truly is.   Between ACC committed standouts ready to make a day-one impact in a matter of months and rising juniors gearing up for September 1, the HHH Committed Games had it all. On site Monday afternoon, here are my top performers from day one of the event:    Be prepared to hear the name Quinn Sheehan a lot over the next few years. She is going to be a day-one impact player for the Blue Devils. By far one of the best defenders on the field Monday, Sheehan outmatches her assignments through sheer physical strength. She is plenty quick to stay with shifty attackers behind the cage at "X" and can always find the angle to plant her feet and drive them away from the offensive set. She loves to work "X" attackers wide on the crease roll, allowing no entry point across GLE and driving them out to the corner sidelines. And even when the ball does make its way inside, Sheehan puts so much physical pressure on her assignment that it paralyzes them and forces low-percentage, second-guessed looks at the cage. There is no doubt this is a player who is not only college ready but one who will dominate at the next level for years to come.     It did not matter who went up against her on the draw — ACC, Big Ten, and Ivy League commits — Ella Berzins was winning it. A 6'1" draw specialist and midfielder from Sarasota, Florida, she will be a highly recruited prospect the moment official contact begins. Berzins very well may be the best draw taker in the class of 2028. What makes Berzins so effective is how she uses her height. In the circle, she does not need to violently push or pull — she can simply flip it up to herself and secure possession over the top of her opponent. Her dominance in the draw puts a heap of pressure on opposing defenses, suffocating them in time of possession as a result. And she is not just a draw specialist — Berzins will be recruited as a midfielder as well come September. She has a laser of a shot that she can rip from any angle, one that she can get off over the top of players at will. There is no doubt that she will find a home with a top college program in the early days of September.     Layla Nick is everything you could ask for in a midfielder, and it is no wonder why Boston College signed her in the early days of the 2027 recruiting window. A high-motor, two-way workhorse, Nick goes all out for every ground ball and will sacrifice her body to get there. Such was the case when she leaped across the sideline and, in one motion, tossed the ball back in to a teammate — something straight out of a basketball game. She makes a lot of plays that only count as a singular tally on the stat sheet, but go a long way toward her team's success. An explosive offensive playmaker as well, Nick is a heads-up, high-IQ off-ball player who can jump-start the offense and create opportunities without the ball. She timed a backdoor cut perfectly against USC on Monday, creating plenty of separation to get her shot off before her defender could recover and the goalie could set. Ready to rip the ball the moment she receives it.     Another New York standout heading to the Ivy League, Cameron Pupke is going to be a mainstay in college lacrosse. You would be hard-pressed to find a more versatile player. She can play midfield and dominate as a draw specialist, or run the offense from attack. At 5'9", her height and frame allow her to outclass opponents at all parts of the field. She had a blow-by dodge against Oregon on Monday that saw her lose her footing after a hard collision with the slide defender — and as she hit the ground, Pupke somehow found the angle to physically force the ball out of her stick and into the cage before she met the turf. She looks like a college player already, and meaningful playing time at Princeton in the early days of her career feels inevitable.     The Lone Star State standout, Cullen Peters, is from Houston, Texas, and had a strong showing between the pipes in Pennsylvania. Peters erases shots point blank, and more than once did she take away a would-be goal with a cross-body stick save right at the crease. She tracks the ball exceptionally well out of the stick and can flip the script of a game with the saves she makes. She does a nice job of stepping up to meet driving players and stuff shots right at the edge of the crease. At 5'6", she plays tall in the cage and explodes toward the ball with her stick. One of the best goalies in the class from a stick work standpoint, her hands are as quick as any goalie seen this summer. Look for a high-level program to snag her in September — her potential is off the charts.     Camryn Adrid is a college-ready player who is going to give Princeton meaningful reps on day one. Adrid particularly stood out on Monday with her defense. She shuts down the transition game at midfield and knows how to match up in open space without throwing wild checks. She plays with a wide base, using her stick horizontally to hold her assignment before getting it up to knock down passes in the lane. She is equally dangerous in the offensive transition game, able to push the pace or slow it down without forcing a look she is unsure of. The game comes to her, and she dictates the pace of play as a result. And even without the ball, she is constantly communicating with teammates, letting them know she is trailing or what she sees developing. She makes everyone around her better with her IQ in all facets of the game.     Furman grabbed what may be one of the most under-the-radar prospects in the class of 2026. Finley Davis is going to be a meaningful contributor in the early days of her career with the Paladins. The first thing you notice is the height — she towers over opponents at nearly 6'0", and her college-ready frame allows her to dictate matchups with physicality and strength. Slick dodgers think they can blow by, but Davis has the footwork to match up in open space and stay with her assignment, driving them away from play. More than once on Monday did an attacker or midfielder think they had the lane to get by, only for Davis to meet them with the footwork and physicality to shut it down time and time again.
