[player_tooltip player_id='71903' first='Kaitlyn' last='Morgan'] is a special talent. An imposing freshman goalkeeper, Morgan was lights out at the PGL showcase on Saturday. The 5'10 Lancaster, Pennsylvania product naturally takes up real estate in the cage, and her tall frame alone forces shooters into tougher windows. She was a reliable last line of defense in 6v6 play, rising to the challenge time and time again with key point-blank saves and big-time stuffs against some of the nation's top talent. She plays with an unshakable confidence that shows in a showcase setting like Saturday's. Only a freshman, she shows glimpses reminiscent of Shea Dolce, not only in her build but in her clearing ability, pushing transition herself and cycling through her progressions before delivering the outlet. The game is already slowing down for her, and that's the scariest part.

This was a weekend to remember for Gia DiSanto. Those unfamiliar with the gritty Canandaigua, New York product were quickly introduced. A true offensive firecracker, DiSanto was balling. She was electrifying to watch in the Sixes format, making a living in transition. She is a deceptive finisher at the cage, showing that off with a well-timed shot fake against some very high-level goalkeepers in attendance. Her toughness on the ride only added to it. If there was a save, DiSanto was immediately applying pressure on the opposing goalkeeper. A true spark plug on offense, she has a lot of flash in her game, capable of throwing a BTB when the moment calls for it. She will likely draw comparisons to Taylor Martin with her size and positioning, and for good reason. DiSanto is by far one of the most fun players to watch in the class of 2030.

Another one of Pennsylvania's top 2030s was in attendance Saturday: Zoe Korn. She is as gritty as they come, and that shows most when she puts her head down and gets downhill. A bruiser who seeks contact, Korn loves to bully her way inside and put home creative finishes from either side. She has a strong, physical frame, and defenders have a hard time standing her up once she gets moving. She has some nice hesitations and splits in her arsenal to get to her spot and can finish from the low angle consistently. In a showcase setting like Saturday, Korn's physicality stood out among the field. She is the kind of prospect coaches will circle early, and her potential is limitless.

Adrianna Meltz made the trip from New York to attend PGL's debut event, and she made it count. A true lockdown in every sense, Meltz has quick feet and dictates the pace of her matchups at the point of attack. She plays with an edge on the defensive end, matching every move and rarely giving attackers a clean look. She showed real flashes as a two-way midfielder in the Sixes format as well, able to get to her spot and finish with a powerful overhand shot that eats up goalies. Her versatility only adds to an already impressive profile. Coaches had nothing but good things to say about Meltz off the field too, calling her a “delight” to work with in small groups. Lockdowns with her skill set and frame don't last long when September comes. Coaches should circle this name early.

A product of Lancaster Country Day School and PA Roar, Strunk brings good footwork and the ability to match feet with quick, shifty attackers. At 5'6, she has an ideal defensive frame to body up and meet players looking to bulldoze their way downhill. She also showed off some quality feeding in games, looking like a player who could develop into a defensive midfielder at the next level. Her willingness to work did not go unnoticed by coaches on site. Strunk looked right at home against older competition.

She stood out for her ability away from the ball on Saturday, slipping past defenders with well-timed cuts to the cage. As an initiator, she keeps her head up constantly, looking for the drop-off, and displayed some high-level feeding ability on Saturday. She showed a gritty and relentless effort on the ride as well.
