In one 6v6 possession, she hit a devastating roll back to her left hand before getting to the cage and finishing. She is just as dangerous away from the ball, cutting with purpose to put herself in position for high-percentage looks. She jumps passing lanes for some remarkable interceptions, and once the ball is in her stick, she can push it upfield in a hurry. Her combine numbers back that up. Against some of the nation's best athletes, Humes posted the 10th-best 5-10-5 time and the 13th-best 30-10 fly time. She can create offense in settled play, too. Humes is slippery with the ball and can finish with either hand, rolling back to get to the cage from both sides. She can run with the very best. She has a great frame, the kind coaches actively seek in recruits, and she is uber effective away from the ball. Simaska regularly finds soft spots inside the 12-meter fan or the 8-meter arc, setting herself up for a time-and-room rip or a high-percentage dunk in tight. That versatility makes her an especially intriguing prospect as she approaches her formal recruiting year. She made varsity as a freshman last year and played a key role offensively for an upstart Cedar Crest squad. Her athleticism showed up at the combine as well, where she placed second in the 5-10-5, fifth in the 30-10 fly, and ninth in the broad jump, all while playing through a minor injury to her right knee. She checked in near the top of every combine measurement, placing fourth in the 5-10-5, fifth in the 30-10 fly, and fifth in the broad jump. That burst translates to the field. Fioravanti gets downhill in a hurry, as she showed with a nice take to the cage in the 4v4 format, and she knows how to use a pick and sweep across the top to find a lane. She does great work away from the ball, too, using well-timed, explosive cuts to create high-percentage looks. Fioravanti has the tools and athleticism to be a dangerous player at the next level, and she is a name to watch this spring. On a young Downingtown West team, she will likely be asked to take on an elevated offensive role. And after what I saw from her this fall, she certainly looks up to the task.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
