Ranked No. 5 nationally in the Class of 2028 by Prep Girls Lacrosse, Bacallao is the real deal. She has proven herself against some of the best shooters in the class and repeatedly comes away with saves that appear nearly impossible. 8-meter opportunities, quick stick attempts, and off-stick shots do not faze her because her hand-eye coordination and reaction time are at another level.

Bacallao anticipates shots exceptionally well. When an attacker looks low, she is often moving low toward the ball before it has even left the stick. She tracks the ball, recovers quickly, and can make multiple outstanding saves during the same possession. Bacallao recorded a remarkable 60% save percentage during her sophomore high school season while facing elite competition, maintaining such a high percentage. Her accurate clears and commanding presence give her the ability to keep her team competitive in any game.

Another day at the office for Ella Bacallao. She came up with big-time saves in her game against STEPS NJ, which Prime Time won 6-3. Low and away saves. Tracked the ball really well. Drops low very quickly to make those tough saves.

Ella Bacallao makes amazing saves off eight meters. Her reaction time is super impressive. When Bacallao plays, everyone around notices how great a player she is. Shots can come high or low, and it doesn’t matter. Goalies that stand out drop to the ground very quickly to make a save. Bacallao does that at an elite level.

Bacallao has great upside for the college level. She makes college-level saves as a sophomore in high school. The Prime Time product makes great saves on the doorstep and drops low very quickly. She tracks the ball well from the outside. Bacallao will come out and intercept passes. Her cross-body, opposite stick side saves stand out.
