Maggs reads shots exceptionally well out of the stick and has quick hands that allow her to make difficult cross-body saves. She extends toward the ball on high shots and is agile enough to get down and stop a shot coming in low. What stood out most on Tuesday was her ability to stay with the play and take away what looked like easy goals at the cage for Twin Valley. More than once did Twin Valley appear to have an open look at the crease, and more than once was Maggs there to take it away.
