Covering her requires a delicate balance for defenders—face-guard her, and she will blow right by on her way to the cage. Her first step is explosive, and if she has even an inch of space, she will get free and immediately generate north-south pressure. She has a deep bag of dodges and re-dodges she can go to at any time to create separation. But you cannot give her too much room, because she possesses a slept-on outside shot with good speed and solid placement. Her feeding ability is the most developed part of her game. If she gets downhill and draws a slide, she is composed in high-pressure situations and consistently finds the open teammate rather than forcing a look.

Hyde is also an asset on the defensive end, willing to pick up her assignment anywhere on the field. She shows good footwork and an active stick, working passing lanes to disrupt and deflect balls.

Hyde tallied three goals in Wyomissing’s win on Tuesday, with her final goal breaking a tie and serving as the game-winner. In a one-on-one situation at the top of the point with her team needing a goal, Hyde was given the ISO opportunity and delivered in a critical moment.

The Davidson recruit has a well-developed game on both ends and is a dynamic presence whenever she is on the field. She projects as a potential impact player at the college level early in her career and should not take long to push for meaningful minutes.
