did Saturday. A defender for Academy of Notre Dame de Namur and Dynasty Elite, the Paoli native is a gritty 1v1 presence who doesn’t let her size dictate the matchup. She is more than willing to take on bigger attackers, using her positioning and stick work to disrupt their drives and create turnovers. I watched her match up against a Princeton commit up top, forcing her away from the action and making her work for every inch. Dwyer also makes her presence felt in transition, vacuuming up ground balls and pushing the field with purpose. She covers ground quickly in the clear and is tough to contain in open space, giving her potential to transition to defensive midfield or midfield at the next level. A product of one of Pennsylvania’s top private programs, Dwyer looks ready to make a name for herself this spring.
