The growth of girls' lacrosse in Georgia has been impossible to ignore, and these five Class of 2028 athletes are a huge reason why. Ironically, they all play for the same club team, which is a complete powerhouse.   These girls have consistently stood out among some of the best competition in the country this summer. College coaches should have these names circled because they are only getting better, and Georgia lacrosse is trending in the right direction because of players like these.    [player_tooltip player_id='47649' first='Bryce' last='Birkholz'] is the type of player college coaches will be battling over when recruiting opens. A true offensive weapon, she combines elite athleticism with one of the highest lacrosse IQs you'll find in the class. Her vision as a feeder is exceptional, delivering pinpoint passes that seem to find teammates in stride every time. Off the ball, she may be one of the smartest movers in the country, constantly creating space and putting herself in dangerous scoring positions.   Her accolades speak for themselves. Birkholz earned USA Lacrosse All-American honors and was named Georgia's Offensive Player of the Year, while also landing on the Prep Girls Lacrosse National Watch List. After producing an unbelievable 150 points in a single season, it's easy to see why.   What separates Bryce is how creative she is. She attacks from unique angles, finishes with deceptive releases, pulls off trick shots with confidence, and makes the difficult look effortless. Everything she does is smooth, calculated, and incredibly effective. She's a complete offensive game changer whose style is unlike anyone else in the Class of 2028.     [player_tooltip player_id='47545' first='Luca' last='Diehl'] is simply a nightmare matchup. Ranked as the No. 2 player in the Class of 2028 by Prep Girls Lacrosse, she has every tool college coaches dream about. Her combination of speed, size, stick skills, strength, and vision allows her to dominate every area of the field.   Her split dodge is explosive, and once she gets downhill, she's incredibly difficult to stop. While defenders naturally focus on her ability to score, what often gets overlooked is her outstanding passing ability. Diehl is an incredibly unselfish player who consistently delivers perfect feeds, making everyone around her better.   Transition is where she truly separates herself. She has the power to finish through contact or dish to an open teammate. She catches and finishes in tight spaces as well as anyone in the class, and her shot is both powerful and accurate.   A USA Lacrosse All-American and Georgia Midfielder of the Year, Diehl is a constant source of energy and one of the most complete midfielders in the nation. She's the definition of a human highlight reel.     [player_tooltip player_id='75363' first='Paige' last='Bamburowski'] may be one of the most complete two-way midfielders in Georgia. Defensively, she constantly disrupts opposing offenses with outstanding anticipation, excellent stick positioning, and an ability to live in passing lanes. Her length allows her to take away throwing windows, rack up interceptions, and create turnovers seemingly every game.   What impressed me most this summer was what happened after those turnovers. Bamburowski immediately scoops the ground ball, explodes into transition, and either pushes the fast break herself or finds teammates to create offense. She never wastes possessions.   While her defensive dominance often steals the spotlight, her offensive game deserves just as much attention. She finished her high school season with 63 goals while earning First Team All-Region honors. She can dodge, finish in traffic, contribute on the draw, and make plays with confidence on both ends of the field. Her versatility will make her an attractive recruit for Division I programs.     [player_tooltip player_id='75352' first='Kylan' last='Lopez'] is the definition of a defensive midfielder who can truly do it all. Tall, athletic, and incredibly vocal, she consistently shuts down some of the nation's top offensive players with textbook positioning, disciplined footwork, and relentless defensive pressure.   Her 1v1 defense is outstanding. Attackers rarely get clean looks against her because she forces them to work for every inch of space. She slides well, uses her length effectively, and plays with tremendous strength while maintaining great stick positioning.   Despite being known for her defense, Lopez contributes across every phase of the game. During her sophomore season, she totaled 36 goals, 35 draw controls, and shot an impressive 58% from the field. Once she wins possession, she quickly pushes transition, uses both hands comfortably, and finds teammates to keep momentum moving forward.     [player_tooltip player_id='75351' first='Kendal' last='Mones'] brings the physicality of a lockdown defender with the versatility of a midfielder. She has an excellent feel for disrupting offensive flow, applying pressure without overcommitting, and consistently forcing mistakes.   Her size allows her to cover ground quickly, and she does an excellent job boxing out opponents while winning 1v1 matchups. Once possession changes, Mones immediately becomes an offensive asset, making smart outlet passes and helping ignite transition with excellent vision.   What makes her especially valuable is her willingness to embrace whatever role her team needs. Whether she's locking down an attacker, creating turnovers, pushing the ball upfield, or finishing offensive possessions herself, she impacts the game in multiple ways.
