UA 150: Day 1 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Under Armour 150 is an application-based recruiting showcase event for the most advanced girls' lacrosse athletes in the 2028, 2029, and 2030 classes. Players will play in front of colleges across the country. Professional combine speed and agility tests are on-site for each player to complete individually. The UA150 panel selects the top applicants in each class to compete in the event. She is a quick dodger who can fire off a quick shot in traffic. She is athletic and a good two-handed clearing defender. On one possession, she ran the floor, exploded down the right alley, and ripped it. She is a 2-way middie who also takes the draw. On one possession, she had a great catch that basically hit the ground. She made saves with her body and saves down low. The 5'11” Florida native is very athletic. She makes great finishes on the backside pipe. Talbot can finish the ball in transition too. She throws great takeaway checks. Zaranek is extremely vocal on defense. The East Chapel Hill (N.C.) product plays her angles very well. Her approach on her matchups is great. On one offensive set, she drove past two defenders and took it to the cage. In the same game, on defense, she intercepted a pass and pushed the pace upfield. She is a quick, crafty dodger. Rardin can go in and out of defenders smoothly; there is a bounce in her dodges. Her stick skills are great. She makes athletic saves and flies from pipe to pipe. Her clears are deadpoint accurate. Ardell can save the ball in close and will stop difficult bounce shots. In one of her games, she made a great opposite stick side save. She is an explosive dodger who can get downhill. She can shake and bake a defender. DeBose has great placement on her shots.
