QB 1, Taylor Martin, makes great feeds back at “X.” The playmaker’s vision is elite. When she operates back at “X,” her true game emerges. Against Team 180, she made a feed off of one foot and got the assist. To start the game, both goals were assisted by Martin. When the goalie comes out of the cage, they better watch out for Martin because she will strip them and get the ball back.

Martin was the captain of Team Martin. When she gets a free position shot, everyone knows she is going to unleash a missile. Goalies can scout for that, but they aren’t going to save it. Martin picks apart corners. On Day 1, she had an amazing underhand pass to one of her teammates and got the assist. Her vision is very good. Her stick skills are probably some of the best in the Class of 2028. She can fake behind-the-back passes, throw big box fakes, make underhand passes, and catch the ball with one hand. She’s a quarterback at heart, and a really good one.

Martin is so fun to watch. She is a crafty, shifty attacker with a tremendous IQ. Martin reads defenses and will eat defenders apart. She can dodge, shoot, feed, and work off-ball. The New Jersey native has a great shot. On her 8-meter shots, she absolutely rips the ball and locates it in impressive spots. She is 2-handed so it is difficult to defend her. Her vision is impressive. She likes to dodge from behind at “X.” Martin can turn the corner quickly and get topside. This is a player that coaches should keep on their radar.
