The Nilly: Crowning the Best Players

Hand-selected team captains in the Classes of 2026/2027, 2028, and 2029 compete in one of the best events of the summer. The Class of 2026/2027 has 32 captains, 2028s have 16 captains, and 2029s have 8 captains.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The "Most Marketable Team" will be awarded NIL Opportunities valued at $50,000 for players 2026/2027 DI Committed. Think high-IQ point guard. Quarterback of an offense. She points to her teammates to tell them where to go on the field. Her stock is literally rising as I write this. Mulada can do it all on offense. Her vision is amazing, and she can thread the needle. She turns the corner at an elite level and then unleashes her lefty side-arm rockets. When she dodges, it is 100% as hard as she can go. The Long Island native fights through contact on her dodges and thrives off getting pressured. Her dodges and hand movements are crazy fast. You almost think that it is out of control, but it's not. Her dodges are a work of art. Truly mesmerizing and special, everything is under control. Duncheskie tries to make you bite with her quick dodges and then explodes past you. She had a great roll dodge and then fired a missile out of the dodge. In the same game, she made a cut inside and scored on a backhand shovel shot. She is going to find a way. The UNC commit stood out on both days at The Nilly. On Day 1, she had a great right-to-left split dodge down the alley that she fired off overhand and scored. On Day 2 in the morning, she got downhill down the right alley and scored. Leaman is a super explosive and fast dodger. When she gets a free position shot, everyone knows she is going to unleash a missile. Goalies can scout for that, but they aren't going to save it. Martin picks apart corners. On Day 1, she had an amazing underhand pass to one of her teammates and got the assist. Her vision is very good. Her stick skills are probably some of the best in the Class of 2028. She can fake behind-the-back passes, throw big box fakes, make underhand passes, and catch the ball with one hand.
