Schardt measured in at 6’1” at the PGL Elite Camp, the tallest player at the event. In the 4v4s, Schardt unleashed a step-down lefty shot, which made my mouth drop. It looked like a college player ripped that shot, not a sophomore in high school. For Schardt, there is room for growth. Very high potential for the Agnes Irwin (Pa.) and NXT product.

Lucy Schardt Lucy Schardt 6'1" | Draw Specialist/Attack | Right Hand The Agnes Irwin School | 2029 PA is going to be a mainstay D1 lacrosse player. Has the measurables of one heading into just her sophomore year at Agnes Irwin. Schardt has one of the most powerful shots I’ve seen from a 2029. She absolutely unloaded a stepdown 12m riser from the left wing that punished the top right corner. College coaches noted how big and powerful her shot is, going as far as to draw a Charlotte North comparison in the way she rips it. But it was also the intangibles that made Schardt stand out on Saturday. She was the most vocal and loudest communicator on the field. The first to hype up her teammates after a great lacrosse play. College coaches are going to be lining up for Lucy Schardt Lucy Schardt 6'1" | Draw Specialist/Attack | Right Hand The Agnes Irwin School | 2029 PA next September. She is the real deal and looks to be an early frontrunner for one of the top 2029s in the nation.

Schardt looks like a college player. She stands at 6’0 and has a great frame for the next level. On the draw, she can win it to herself; her hands are so quick. She can also chase down a ground ball off the draw. In one of the morning games on Day 1, she had a right-to-left split dodge down the left alley that she finished overhand. An extremely powerful shot.

From Devon, Pennsylvania, Lucy Schardt Lucy Schardt 6'1" | Draw Specialist/Attack | Right Hand The Agnes Irwin School | 2029 PA is a tall and physical attacker with a lightning-fast shot. At 6’0″, her height gives her a noticeable advantage over defenders when her stick is up, and her accuracy, combined with shot speed, makes her difficult to defend.

She has become increasingly effective in the draw circle, where she uses her height to position her stick above her opponents.

Offensively, she fights through contact well and is an exceptional athlete. For a freshman who may not be done growing, she has already become a difficult assignment for opposing defenders.

But perhaps her most impressive attribute is her lacrosse IQ. Schardt is relaxed with the ball on her stick, excels under pressure, and keeps her head up constantly, reading the play in front of her as it develops.

Coming from a family with deep roots in lacrosse, her mother played at Princeton and her father played at Cornell, Schardt’s knowledge and understanding of the game is off the charts.

Division I coaches, if they have not already, should take note of Lucy Schardt Lucy Schardt 6'1" | Draw Specialist/Attack | Right Hand The Agnes Irwin School | 2029 PA . She is a physical and athletic attacker who is quickly making an impact across the Philadelphia lacrosse scene.
