Her split dodge is smooth and explosive, highlighted by a rapid change of direction and fluid stick work that allow her to run circles around defenders. She combines those dodging skills with excellent shot placement and the ability to create offense in several different ways. Ray is also a major asset on the draw circle, where she attacks loose balls like a vacuum and consistently helps her team earn possession. Her scrappy defense, ground ball effort, and unwavering consistency make her the type of player who strengthens every unit she joins.

Ray is a triple threat, capable of making an impact anywhere on the field. She has explosive speed and a sharp change of direction, allowing her to get around defenders with ease. On attack, she uses her agility and quickness to break down defenses and create scoring opportunities. Her dodges are quick and deceptive, opening up space for a shot or pass. On defense, she locks down her player, applies constant pressure on the ball, and denies easy looks at the goal. In the midfield, she consistently comes up with ground balls in tough situations.
