Phelan is a two-way midfielder who can dodge anywhere on the field. She can start her dodges from the football numbers and get downhill, and can dodge from behind and turn the corner coming up from “X.” She is an athletic and fast midfielder who wants to dodge hard and shred through a defense. When dodging down the alley, Phelan can get off a nice on-the-run shot. The Connecticut native takes the draw and can win them to herself. Phelan is a good initiator to start an offense at the next level.
