Strobel's footwork is next level. She can knife through the defense to the cage after exploding out of her dodge. On one possession, she hit a devastating left-to-right split that led to an easy blow-by, and when the slide came on the doorstep, she finished around it with a twizzler. It was one of the most jaw-dropping plays of the day and showcased her ability to take over offensively when her team needs a goal. She steered her matchup away from setting picks on her teammates and was constantly communicating, calling “stay” to keep the defense locked on their assignments. From the greater Philadelphia region and a product of William Penn Charter and HHH Philly, two of Pennsylvania's best prep and club programs, Allegra McGinnis is a hard-nosed, explosive defender who thrives in 1v1 situations. She plays with an aggressive edge, closing fast on ball carriers and forcing them off their spots and out of the flow of the offense. Libby Secrest

State: Maryland
School: Stone Ridge School O
Club: Hero's

If you aren't getting the theme yet, the Marylanders were on a different level Monday. In this case, it was Kensington, Maryland's Libby Secrest. Secrest will suit up for the aforementioned Stone Ridge this spring, and she plays her club ball with Hero's. Secrest was one of the best off-ball players I saw all day. She times her cuts well and ends up with a lot of point-blank looks at the cage as a result. She is explosive and can leave defenders in the dust. Secrest also got some work behind the cage at “X,” where her twitchy, deceptive cradle (think Kate Wood) kept defenders guessing whether she was going to feed or put her shoulder down and turn the corner. Her crease dodges are crafty, and she can finish from the low angle consistently.
