Molly Spellman had an incredible showing at the Rize. She was not only the backbone of her defense, but also her entire team. She is a vocal leader, seen giving direction to teammates. She is by far one of the most consistent goalies in the Class of 2029. Goals scored on her were few and far between. Spellman was also confident in her quick clears, allowing the offense to get better downfield position before the opposing team could transition. She will be one with a lot of eyes on her going into the summer.

Sophie Kasouf is a player whose athleticism is unmatched. The first time you see her on the draw circle or transition the ball, you can immediately see how her speed impacts the game. She is a true 2-way midfielder and uses her speed with hard dodges and turning the corner to shoot. Defensively, she is confident playing high pressure even if everyone else is playing settled, just because she knows that she can possibly cause a turnover. She consistently impacts both sides of the ball in a game.

She has the athleticism to push a fast break and hit teammates in stride with accurate long passes. She plays great backside defense in transitional recovery. She is a very impactful defender who makes her presence known.

Faith Canty is an incredibly well-rounded defender and stood out as such at the Rize. Her 1v1 will lock girls up and force them to give the ball away. She uses her size and wingspan well, knocking down passes and deterring drives when she is off-ball. Canty also cuts quickly on the clear and uses her speed to transition the ball. If there is no open next pass, she is confident carrying it all the way downfield and does so, leaving the ride behind her.

Arianna Lewis is more than just a great shooter. Although she had many impressive finishes throughout the day at the Rize, she impacted the offensive game in other ways as well. Lewis is not shy to transition the ball or come all the way over the restraining line for a clear. Her ability to read slides leads to numerous opportunities for her and her teammates, especially on a fast break. Lewis understands when to slip, either creating a simple draw and dump for herself or drawing the second slide to hit the “one more” pass. She is very active and, paired with a high IQ, makes her very hard to defend.

Charlie Holloway has the ability to snag bad passes and convert. She is very good at reading defensive body position and makes the correct shot choice on a consistent basis. She was shown shooting multiple behind-the-back shots, not because it was flashy, but because, in the situation, it was the right choice. She has a wide variety of shot styles and is a consistent finisher.
