Gilbart is patient when she feeds the ball, and then threads the needle. Her passes are so pinpoint accurate, it’s incredible. If a college coaching staff can pair up Gilbart and Cacaterra on the same team, they will have something special. They complement each other’s games so well. Keep them together, and you will win.

Gilbart is a great player. She is one of the leaders on this Nyack (N.Y.) squad that made it to the state semifinals. Really amazing vision. She was playing defense on one possession, and she laid out a player and scooped up the ground ball. Gilbart has a great step-down shot. Coming in off the circle, she makes great reads. A really good player who is going to get calls on 9/1.

Gilbart is so fun to watch. She has a fast on-the-run shot when she blows by her defender. Gilbart is crafty back at “X” or wherever she has the ball. She normally plays back at “X” or low on the goalie’s right side. Her vision is great, and she always finds her teammates cutting. When she dodges, she weaves through defenders and is going to make an impressive finish on goal. From a scouting report perspective, it is hard to game-plan for Gilbart. You have to respect her as a dodger, shooter, and feeder. Off-ball, she does damage too. Gilbart rides hard to win the ball back and is so scrappy for loose ground balls.
