Ava von Kleeck is a good 2-way middie. She is not flashy; she is a fundamental player. Von Kleeck is fast, quick, and explosive. She makes the right plays. The Prime Time product turns the corner quickly on her dodges and can get downhill. On the defensive side of the ball, she can play 1v1 defense. She can intercept passes, strip the ball away from her matchup, and pick up ground balls. Off-ball, she makes perfectly timed cuts. She’s a good finisher and can shoot the ball with both hands. Von Kleeck has good upside; she needs to keep getting developed for the next level.
