Uncommitted 2028s College Coaches Need to Know

These uncommitted 2028s bring talent to every part of the field. From attackers who create chances under pressure to defenders who shut down matchups, each player has shown why college coaches should take a closer look.

Tunney is a strong, fast attacker who can make an impact from either side of the field and contribute on the draw. The PGL National Watchlist player and USA Lacrosse U19 National Combine participant is especially dangerous at "X." She can beat her defender and place her shot, but she is just as willing to draw a double team and find an open teammate. Tunney reads when to slip or cut, stays patient under pressure, and uses fakes to create space. Her ability to build momentum while putting her team first makes her a threat every time she has the ball.

Boardman is a poised attacker who looks comfortable with the ball under pressure. She has a quick first step, strong stick skills, and the ability to get around her defender at “X.” What makes her especially valuable is her vision: Boardman can create her own opportunity or deliver a well-timed feed to a teammate. She plays with the composure and confidence coaches want at the next level, and this PGL National Watchlist player deserves a closer look.

Pedone is a PGL National Watchlist defender whose speed, footwork, and defensive IQ stand out immediately. She reacts quickly in 1v1 matchups, reads passing lanes well, and puts herself in position to make interceptions. Getting past her takes work. Pedone hustles for ground balls, protects her stick, and uses her speed to move the ball through transition. As a lefty who contributes in so many ways, she deserves more attention from college coaches.

Schmitt is a versatile midfielder who can influence the game on both ends, with her defense leading the way. She moves her feet well in 1v1 matchups, turns quickly to stay with attackers, and reads plays early enough to intercept passes. Schmitt can help organize a defensive unit and move the ball upfield efficiently after a stop. On offense, she brings good vision, confident stickwork, sharp cuts, and an accurate shot with a quick release.

Krozy shows her awareness when attackers work from “X” toward the crease. She reacts quickly, tracks cutters, and stays with the play when an attacker tries to turn the corner for a close shot. Her ability to follow the action around the crease gives her a solid foundation in goal and makes her an uncommitted 2028 worth watching.
