About Liz

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

What sets me apart on the field is my lacrosse IQ and field vision. I don't just look to finish plays, I create them. I'm driven by a team-first mentality and a commitment to elevating my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A lot of people consider me a quiet and shy person, but I really take pride in being able to observe and understand those around me, especially the little things. I am not the type of person to give up on anyone, especially my teammates. I also have high expectations for myself in the classroom and beyond which fuels my determination.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my school community through Student Government, Interact Club, Art Club, Italian Language & Culture Club, and I have 8 years of experience in Orchestra. My painting was recently selected for exhibition on Long Island. I have also recently picked up playing guitar.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have dedicated time to community service from a young age, starting with church work as an altar server at my local parishes. As a Student Government Representative and former President throughout Middle School, I create and lead fundraising initiatives throughout my school community. I've been a varsity starter since 7th grade, which has also shaped my growth as a team leader.

What type of college are you looking for?

Ultimately, I want a school where I will be a right fit and the community is strong. I see myself at a medium-sized school. I want my school to have strong STEM and Business programs since I am drawn to Engineering and Computer Science.
