Honor Borek Honor Borek 5'5" | Attack/Midfield | Right Hand Gwynedd Mercy | 2027 PA is the kind of player that college coaches dream of having on their roster. A high-IQ, high-motor attacker who does not give up on plays, she will crash the crease and chase down rebounds for second and third looks at the cage. Even then, she is relentless on the ride, able to stay connected without overcommitting in open space. Extremely physical but disciplined enough to stay vertical and avoid the foul. Her footwork is solid, allowing her to stay step for step with quick defenders on the ride.

Borek is a commanding presence on the offensive end, doing a nice job of finding soft spots in the defense around the eight-meter mark, where she does a lot of her damage. She is poised inside the eight with the defense crashing. She is a tier-one finisher who absorbs contact well and gets her shot off regardless of the traffic around her.

Borek has had a strong junior season, and I do not expect her to stay on the uncommitted list much longer. More of the same should be expected as she gears up for a state playoff run and the club circuit this summer.
