Bastow is an athletic and active goalie who plays with confidence. She tracks the ball well, shows strong footwork, and does not clear the ball far.

She thrives on high shots but is also quick to drop and make saves; whether it’s a bounce shot, fake, or up close, she is there to stop it and control the game.

Her presence in the cage stands out because Bastow has a good read on shooters, stays active, and can stuff close shots. She does a good job of maintaining control over saves and quickly turning defense into an offensive set with accurate clears. Her IQ on clears is her strength. Bastow can find an open teammate and quickly send a long, accurate clear to help with the transition.

She’s not only a lacrosse player, though she is an all-around athlete, earning her black belt, and skiing, whether in snow or water, she is active. During her 2025-26 high school season, she recorded 138 saves and 18 ground balls, demonstrating her ability to consistently impact games.

Her confidence and athleticism shine brightly. She makes big stops, controls the game, and creates transition opportunities for the team.
