A dynamic “X” attacker, Cregan has both the footwork and burst of speed to dictate her matchups, which she did all afternoon on Friday. In one instance, Cregan caught the ball at “X,” worked towards GLE, established body positioning on her defender, waited for the overcommitment, and blew past her for an uncontested goal. She does a good job of reading her defender’s reactions, and when she sees one she likes, she exploits it for an easy goal.
