Grimm gives an offense plenty of options with her ability to finish with either hand, create from “X,” and deliver accurate feeds across the field. She sees developing opportunities well and knows when to attack her matchup or move the ball to an open teammate. Coming around the cage, she uses changes of pace and convincing fakes to set up well-placed finishes, including shots into the top corners. She can also score from distance, making her dangerous from multiple spots.

Her movement without the ball is just as effective. Grimm times her backdoor cuts well and puts herself in position to catch and finish. In her American Select games, she showed how productive she can be as both a scorer and a facilitator. Her height adds to her presence, while her ability to secure self draws gives her another way to create possessions. Grimm also brings impressive physicality to the ride, working hard to win the ball back after a turnover. She is a smart, versatile attacker whose impact extends well beyond her own scoring.

Grimm hails from Maryland, where she attends Roland Park Country School (Md.) and plays for M&D. Grimm can get to the goal. She is 2-handed and can easily score with both.
