MidAtlantic Summer: Standouts Emerge in Wild Weather

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The MidAtlantic Summer in Maryland put a wrap on the club team circuit this summer. I swung by on July 18th and watched games from 10:30am-12:30pm. The air quality was a big question all weekend, along with thunderstorms and lightning strikes. In her game against Coppermine, she had a dunk down low on the right pipe. Kiely has a facedodge in her bag that allows her to get inside and score. On the ride, she goes all out. When she operates back at “X,” her true game emerges. Against Team 180, she made a feed off of one foot and got the assist. To start the game, both goals were assisted by Martin. In her game against Concept, the double came hard, and she split through them, got downhill, and scored. Later in the game, she made an off-ball cut and got a goal on the doorstep. On the ride she is relentless and throws big-time checks to try and strip the ball away. Coming in off the circle, she makes great reads. She stands at 5'11” and runs right through people on the clear. The Alliance defender is fast and can run the floor really well. She had a really nice right-handed jump shot that she put in the back of the net against BBL Elite. Coming in off the circle, she made nice reads.
