Green’s stock rose tremendously at the Top Threat Championships. A legit stud of a player who has a great frame for the next level. She can cook her defender behind at “X,” come upfield, turn the corner quickly, and score. A great step-down rip off the 8-meter. On the draw, she dominates and wins it to herself.

Brooke Green can flat-out score at will, and that was on full display Sunday in front of a crowded complex of Division I coaches. She was one of the purest scorers I saw all weekend. Green is crafty with the ball, showing off finishes from multiple angles that looked unfair to defend. She had a nice hesitation dodge into a bouncer goal on one possession, followed by a low-angle sidearm laser the next time down. Her height and longer reach allow her to extend through traffic and get her shot off at angles that are essentially uncontestable.

Green is a 5’11” attacker for Compass. She can definitely shoot the ball. On one possession, she had a nice cut to the goal with a hard, fast shot. On a different possession, she made a shot, falling down. This is a player who will fight her way to the goal.
