Gustafson, out of Massachusetts, played for Team New England at NBAA. She can fire off shots at the goal whenever she wants. Against Team South, she had a nice take down the left alley, switched her stick to her right hand towards the inside, and scored.

Marin Gusrafson showed strong defensive awareness and constantly stayed engaged off-ball. Her communication and ability to start clears were noticeable strengths when watching her play. Breaking out fast and moving the ball up field with speed is what stood out the most. In addition to being a solid on-ball defender, her off-ball defense was especially impressive. She stayed tight to cutters and got on their hands quickly, something that was noticeable even from the stands.
