PA: Bishop Shanahan Standouts

Year after year, the Eagles put together talented rosters, compete deep into the postseason, and develop high-level college talent. With a mix of proven veterans and rising stars, here are the key players to keep an eye on from this loaded Shanahan squad.    [player_tooltip player_id='46927' first='Fiona' last='Duncheskie'] is unlike almost any player you'll come across. Her style of play is incredibly unique and makes her one of the toughest matchups in the state. Equally dangerous with either hand, Duncheskie can beat defenders in countless ways. Her speed, creativity, and ability to create separation make her nearly impossible to contain.   She's had the chance to play with Team USA and one of the biggest names in the 2027 class; Duncheskie possesses elite stick skills and a breathtaking jump shot that she uses with tremendous success. The ball seems glued to her stick, and all she needs is a quick jab step before she's flying toward the goal and finishing with precision. Whether she's playing attack or stepping into the midfield, she remains a constant threat. She is a next-level talent who has all the tools to thrive at Florida and beyond.     [player_tooltip player_id='73862' first='Emma' last='McGlothlin'] impacts every aspect of the game. She combines elite stick work, vision, ball handling, and awareness to create problems all over the field. Her ability to catch and finish in tight spaces is outstanding, and she consistently finds ways to score even when defenders collapse on her.   McGlothlin has excellent cuts, strong stick protection, and the strength to fight through contact on her way to goal. She can beat defenders 1v1, weave through traffic, and finish with impressive shot placement. Add in her dominance on the draw circle, and it's easy to see why she's considered one of the most complete midfielders in the area. She truly is the total package.     [player_tooltip player_id='71809' first='Callie' last='Murray'] is one of the top young players to watch in Pennsylvania. After seeing her play last season, it was clear she possessed special talent, and she has only elevated her game since then. Murray is an extremely shifty attacker who can change direction effortlessly and create separation with her speed.   Her sidearm shot is lethal, and if her first dodge doesn't work, she'll immediately reset, attack again, and find another way to beat her defender. Murray switches hands seamlessly and remains a threat from every angle on the field. She can score on her own, but she's equally capable of finding open teammates when defenses slide. College coaches should already have their eyes on her because she projects as a high-level Division I recruit.     [player_tooltip player_id='73863' first='Juliana' last='O'Brien'] is a true difference-maker between the pipes. One of her biggest strengths is her ability to turn saves into transition opportunities with long, accurate clears that can immediately flip field position.   O'Brien excels at taking away high shots and consistently comes up with saves that many goalies simply don't make. She is particularly impressive on point-blank opportunities, staying composed and reacting quickly in tight spaces. Her quick shot-stopping ability makes her a brick wall in net and a major reason for her First Team All Ches-Mont Conference award.     Ferraro is a tall, athletic defender who uses her size and speed to make life difficult for opposing attackers. Her length allows her to disrupt passing lanes and generate turnovers, while her quickness helps her recover in transition and deliver timely back checks.   She plays outstanding one-on-one defense, wins plenty of ground balls, and is confident carrying the ball upfield to spark transition opportunities. Comfortable with either hand, Ferraro is a well-rounded defender who consistently impacts her team's success.     [player_tooltip player_id='73865' first='Natalie' last='Gaffney'] is a polished attacker with a balanced offensive skill set. Her outside shot is dangerous, and she shoots so naturally with both hands that it's difficult to determine which is actually her dominant hand.   Gaffney combines excellent shot placement with impressive shiftiness around the attacking end. She has a scorer's mentality and consistently finds ways to put pressure on defenses. Her versatility, confidence, and ability to finish from multiple angles make her a player that her opponents must account for at all times.
