The Northeast Summer Tournament by Premier 37 Events took place on June 13-14 in Albany, N.Y. Players from the Classes of 2027-2034 showcased their talents at three different venues. The 2030s-2034s played on June 13, while the 2027s-2029s each had their own venue on June 14.

Here are the standouts:

Torgalkar does a little bit of everything. She takes the draw and can win it to herself. The Prime Time middie can fight for a 50-50 groundball. She can feed the ball, work off-ball, and finish the rock. Torgalkar is committed to Yale and is a Top-50 player in the country.

Meyer is committed to St. Bonaventure with LeighAnn Stauffer. She played amazingly against HHH. A really great performance and one of the best that day. She chased the ball to the end line and showed her willingness to hustle. Meyer saved shots from in close and from midrange. The best save was against Riley Davis. Davis got downhill after getting the ball coming in off the circle and ripped it extremely hard. Meyer came up with a big-time save.

Amalia Netto is uber fast. If you let her get out in space, it's over. Her IQ is so high, and she's crafty with the ball in her stick. The way she reads defenders is at a high level. Netto is two-handed, and her roll dodges are extremely hard to defend.

The Westhill attacker helped her team to a NYS tournament appearance. The Cornell commit wants the ball in her stick. She had a great skip pass feed across the field to her teammate, who drew a shooting space call. Lasher can dodge from back at “X.” She dodges really hard and can dump the ball to her teammates off a slide. If she has a good matchup, she can absolutely cook her defender as she did against LI Top Guns.

Bang is a really good player. She got banged up a couple of times and drew a card against CT Grizzlies. Bang should play on the outside on the woman-up with her ability to stretch shoot from the outside. She wants the ball in her stick at all times, but can also work off-ball when she needs to. Bang had a great cut and finish against LI Top Guns that was overhand and hit the bottom corner.
