It is just about that time of year. Winter sports are all but wrapped up, and lacrosse teams across the state are gearing up for a regular season that is now just weeks away. As commitments start to pour in for the class of 2027, many players remain uncommitted but look poised for breakout seasons.

Here is a detailed look at those standouts from the class of 2027 - uncommitted prospects with rising stock who are deserving of college coaches' attention this season.

Keller is everything a college program could ask for. She has quickly become one of the most reliable attackers in the class of 2027, rarely turning the ball over and consistently making smart decisions with the ball in her stick.

In the unusual instances she does turn it over, or if she or a teammate misses a shot, Keller is often the first to redefend. Her quick instincts after possession changes have led to numerous transition goals for the Cougars, and that two-way adaptability is a major part of her upside value.

With teammates Maddie Kane and Kylee O'Donnell now graduated and off to their respective college programs, Keller is expected to take on a larger offensive role for a Springfield Delco team that gets significantly younger this season. However, after spending 2025 playing behind a plethora of talent and some of the state's top players, she looks more than ready for the challenge of being one of the primary scoring options.

Keller, who will be a four-year starter in soccer by the end of her high school career, is a true three-sport athlete in lacrosse, basketball, and soccer, and while some may shy away from that challenge and responsibility, Keller has embraced it.

“In Delaware county we are known for being feisty and having a lot of grit,” said Broome. “we work hard, we battle, and that's part of what makes us successful.”

And in [player_tooltip player_id='70675' first='Giulia' last='Keller'], Springfield has a player who is the embodiment of that mindset.

Hall is quickly emerging as one of the top defenders in the Class of 2027. At 5-foot-11, Hall is a disruptive presence who uses her length and reach to generate takeaways. She has a sound defensive approach, strong footwork, and the ability to quickly help close on a driving attacker if a teammate gets beat to the net.

Hall is a physical and disciplined defender who uses her long reach to cover ground horizontally. Her long strides and excellent footwork allow her to keep up with even the quickest attackers. She is also an excellent communicator, consistently calling out cutters and alerting teammates to developing offensive movements.

One of the biggest developments in her game has been her increasingly reliable presence in the transition game for Trinity. Hall has shown the ability to push upfield with confidence and use her height to deliver passes over the top of defenders. That growth is expected to earn her reps in the midfield this season in addition to her defensive responsibilities.

Heading into her junior year, Hall is expected to be an integral piece of the Trinity defensive unit and a potential two-way contributor. Her versatility, size, and adaptability make her a dynamic prospect who college coaches should monitor closely as the season unfolds.

Schneider is Cumberland Valley's glue piece. She does all the little things offensively that don't show up in the stat sheet but have been instrumental in her team's success. Schneider has exceptional lacrosse IQ, and her vision allows her to consistently quarterback the Cumberland Valley offense. She is definitely one of the best passers in the class of 2027, doing an excellent job facilitating and finding the open teammate.

Schneider's head is always up, and she rarely misses a cutter moving toward the goal. She posts defenders well as the offense sets up and is a patient player with good stickwork, resulting in minimal turnovers on the offensive end. Schneider compiled 33 goals and 28 assists in her sophomore season, good for the second-most assists on the team. After an exceptionally strong summer with Xtreme Lacrosse, Schneider is expected to be the focal point of Cumberland Valley's midfield and attacking unit over the next two seasons.

Most importantly, in Schneider, Cumberland Valley has an excellent person off the field, and the college program that lands her will be getting a team-first player who elevates those around her.

“She is one that people turn to for help with creating playlists, doing game day hair, making posters, getting rides, and she is very committed to the team,” said Cumberland Valley head coach Karen Keitel. “She attends all of the off-season optional practices and team bonding events.”

Melconian puts the ball wherever she wants to. With an elite set of moves and the ability to attack in either direction, Melconian is quickly emerging as one of the better attackers in the Class of 2027. She is incredibly quick on her feet and trusts her footwork and stickwork to get past even the most physical defenders, which she does with overwhelming success.

However, for as good a scorer as Melconian is, she may be an even better passer. She is patient with the ball and increasingly confident in one-on-one situations, where she can beat her defender and draw help defense. That ability to collapse a defense with her initial move often leads to clean looks and open goals for her teammates.

After a run to the state championship game in her sophomore season, Melconian now has valuable playoff and championship experience. That background should serve her well as she becomes a focal point of a Bishop Shanahan offense looking to return to the state title game and finish the job this season.

Misener can't wait to get back on the field. After tearing her ACL in one of the final regular-season games of 2025 - an injury that forced her to miss the entire summer club season - Misener returns to a Conestoga team that desperately missed her offensive production late down the stretch. A 2025 Best in Class invite, her role is simple - or rather, she has made it simple: win the draw and score goals. Misener has been a foundational piece of Conestoga's offense since arriving on the varsity scene. Even in her shortened 2025 season, she tallied 69 draw controls, most on the team, despite missing the final few regular-season games and the entire postseason.

Misener has excellent footwork, which she uses to her advantage to dodge and get past opposing defenders. She is certainly a name to watch entering this season, and with her ACL now fully recovered, she is expected to have a breakout junior year for a Conestoga team that looks to return to state championship status.
