Hazen’s ground ball work is a defining part of her game. She is quick to collect loose possession and follows it with a controlled, efficient clear. The Liberty commit handles the ball securely and gets it moving upfield, helping her team make use of the stops it earns.

In individual matchups, Hazen is difficult to solve on the first attempt. She stays engaged through an attacker’s repeated efforts to get around her, making the route to goal a demanding one. That persistence, paired with her ability to recover the ball and clear safely, makes her a valuable presence throughout a defensive possession.
