Violet Salmon was outstanding throughout the Committed Games, making it nearly impossible for opposing offenses to find a consistent way to score. She kept her team in the game with save after save, showing incredible athleticism, fast reflexes, and one of the quickest reaction times in attendance. Whether the shot was high, low, or coming from point-blank range, Salmon was always ready.

Low shots are her specialty, but there truly wasn’t a safe place to shoot against her. She has the ability to make one unbelievable save and immediately recover for another before anyone expects it. Salmon also clears confidently with both hands… which is very rare, something many goalies don’t possess. Her athleticism, high lacrosse IQ, and consistency make her one of the most complete goalies in this class. She will make an immediate impact at UConn.
