Baroni is a gritty defender whose physical presence and anticipation make her a constant threat to opposing possessions. She competes hard in 1v1 matchups, pressures attackers with an active stick, and reads passing lanes to come away with interceptions. Her communication helps her coordinate slides and switches, while her speed allows her to cover ground and contribute on the draw circle. Once she wins the ball, Baroni is a dependable option to help move possession upfield. She started every game as her team’s defensive rover in 2026, earning All Central League Honorable Mention and All Delco Honorable Mention recognition. With the versatility to contribute as a defensive midfielder, Baroni is an underrated prospect college coaches should be watching.
