Bruschi has competed at the varsity level since eighth grade as both a defender and midfielder, an impressive accomplishment playing in New York. She is comfortable in man-to-man and zone defenses and has earned the responsibility of playing backer, a role that speaks to her IQ, communication, and reliability. Bruschi consistently gets sticks on 8-meter shots, creates knockdowns, and turns checks into immediate ground ball opportunities. Her size, strength, and reach make her extremely disruptive in 1v1 matchups, and she has shown all summer that she can hold her own against high-level offensive players.
