Ranked No. 24 nationally by Prep Girls Lacrosse, Goodenough is an exceptional two-way midfielder whose speed, athleticism, and versatility show up everywhere on the field. She is incredibly intentional with her offensive movement, constantly working off-ball and using perfectly timed backdoor cuts to make defenders pay for overplaying her. With the ball, her quick first step, creative dodging, and strong stick protection allow her to weave through defenses and attack the 8-meter with confidence. Goodenough is equally impressive on the draw, whether winning it to herself or making a clean catch and finish after securing possession. Defensively, she is a force who can knock down passes, deflect 8-meter shots, and immediately turn stops into offense. A member of the 2025 and 2026 U17 USA National Team, she is one of the most complete midfielders in the class.

Goodenough will blow by her defender if she presses out on her. She can get downhill easily and is a hard dodger. The California native works very well off-ball and makes great cuts. On one possession, she sat on the crease, came upfield, caught the ball, and turned and scored. Her stick skills are elite. Against Florida Select, she had a great strip and ground ball.

Goodenough is an athletic midfielder out of California. She is a good draw taker; she wins it to herself a lot of the time. On offense, she can blow by her 1v1 matchup. She gets downhill easily and will fight through contact on her dodges. Goodenough makes smart cuts off-ball. On defense, she throws perfectly timed trail checks.

The 5’9” middie knows how to use her size and speed to hunt in the clear, demand the ball in her cuts, and put her defenders on skates as they try to keep up with her. Her off-ball movement is constant and intentional, creating opportunities not just for herself, but for the entire offense. What separates Goodenough is her ability to impact the game in transition, turning defensive stops into instant offensive momentum. Her pace forces defenses to react. She is dictating the tempo rather than adjusting to it. As West Coast talent continues to rise, Goodenough is a name college coaches will have circled early in the 2028 class.
