Gormsen, the midfielder out of Virginia who attends Georgetown Visitation (D.C.), is a tall 2-way player. Against Salt City Snipers, she had a nice right-to-left split dodge down the alley that missed wide but had some heat on it. She is two-handed and can finish lefty. On one possession, her defender played her in the back corner of the field. Gormsen blew by the pressure and ran right to the goal with ease. She had a nice takeaway check in the same game. Gormsen is a really great player. College coaches need to keep an eye on her this summer.
