The lefty goalie from California was one of the strongest of the bunch on Friday. Katragadda is extremely agile in the crease, and her strong lateral movement allows her to explode toward low shots in either direction, which she did a nice job of stopping all afternoon. She does a good job of stepping out to meet the shooter, helping her cover the over-the-top shots that her shorter frame might otherwise leave her vulnerable to. Elite Ivy League programs have been known to tap into the Orange County, California, pipeline in search of West Coast talent, and Katragadda fits the bill as a potential goalie for one of these programs.
