About Emily

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Adept stick skills, a keen field vision, and a relentless work ethic, I lead my team both on and off the field, setting a standard of excellence. I believe my strengths include a strong work ethic, high lacrosse IQ and my tenacity in transition.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I hold myself to high standards: I arrive early, stay late, ask questions, push through fatigue and stay focused in games and practices.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In academics, I prioritize studying and maintain a strong GPA while also giving back to the community through volunteering at youth camps and serving in student activities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through competing at a high level in both high school and club lacrosse, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and resilience, learning how to communicate under pressure and lead by example. Off the field, volunteering at youth camps and participating in student activities has strengthened my sense of responsibility and taught me the value of mentorship and giving back.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I suffered a knee injury that kept me off the field during Summer & Fall season. While this was a tough setback, I have embraced it as an opportunity to build mental toughness, understand adversity, and deepen my commitment to the sport. Time away from game action has given me a new perspective: I appreciate even more what it means to prepare each day & better equipped to handle life challenges.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to attend a college where I can excel both academically and athletically, seeking the highest level of competition.
