She has a quick first step that allows her to blow by her defender. Carney’s defense is very impressive. She has great footwork and is super aggressive defending straight up 1v1. Her long wingspan allows her to intercept passes on defense and explode up to grab the ball coming in off the circle. Carney can shoot with both hands and has a nice on-the-run shot.
