Boccella always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, creating scoring chances through smart movement rather than forcing the play. She can step into a shot from distance and absolutely rip it, but she’s equally dangerous setting up teammates with her vision and passing ability. Defensive pressure never rattled her, as she welcomes contact and plays through it with confidence. Her hustle was impossible to ignore, constantly fighting for ground balls and putting her body on the line to gain extra possessions. Boccella moves beautifully with and without the ball, capitalizes on nearly every opportunity, and proved herself to be one of the most well-rounded attackers I watched all summer.
