Another upstate New York talent, Carly Fitch made the trip to Spooky Nook just weeks after announcing her commitment to UNC Charlotte. There is a confidence that players gain once they commit, and Fitch played like it Saturday. She scored in bunches, mixing in some creative, crafty finishes in tight. Still, it was her shot that turned the most heads. Coaches on site noted that Fitch has a “big, CN style of shot,” a nod to Charlotte North. She backed up the eye test at the combine, too, finishing fourth in the 5-10-5, 10th in the 30-10 fly, and 12th in the broad jump. Fitch is a complete offensive player whose game will translate exceptionally well to the college level in a few short years.

Fitch is a right-handed attacker who thrives as a dodger. She is incredibly athletic and shifty, which leads to consistent success in blowing by both 1v1 defenders and help slides. She can often be seen threading multiple defenders and getting a high-quality shot off in traffic. She shoots on the run with either hand with the same confidence. Her top-notch athleticism allows her to blow by players in transition and ride effectively. Fitch is an energy-changing player. Her presence on the field, especially in pivotal moments, provides a spark that others follow.
