Brooke McCoy is the definition of a complete midfielder. The USA U16 team member impacts every area of the field with her athleticism, speed, and awareness. At 5’11”, she uses her height exceptionally well to disrupt passing lanes, intercept the ball, and create problems defensively before immediately turning defense into offense in transition. On the attacking end, McCoy is smooth yet explosive, weaving through defenders and finishing under pressure with impressive placement. Whether she is on the draw, in the circle, or flying through transition, she is consistently one of the best athletes on the field. Her versatility and ability to dominate in multiple phases of the game make her one of the top players in the country.

Sharp turns and a quick wrist are simple words to explain what Brooke McCoy brought to the field. Much of her time on the field was spent assisting her teammates – even securing three goals for herself in the first half. McCoy was active on defense, causing turnovers that allowed scoring opportunities for her teammates.
