About Ali

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast player on and off-ball with quick footwork and effective dodges. I hustle for every 50/50 ground ball and when redefending to create caused turnovers. I am strong in my 1v1’s because can I can handle pressure to either get a quality shot or assist an open cutter. I've selected as Freshman Athlete of the Year at Holy Child, a US Club Lacrosse 2028 Rising Star, and an Apex All-American.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is fearless, competitive, and team-first. I play with relentless hustle, never back down from a challenge, and give maximum effort on every ground ball, ride, and redefend. I stay composed under pressure, lead by example through dedication and hard work, and am always looking for ways to improve my play and help my team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Athletic Directors Leadership Council, Member, Connelly School of the Holy Child (2025) Vice President of the One Love Club, Connelly School of the Holy Child (2024, 2025) President of the One Love Club in the upcoming school year at Holy Child (2026) Volunteer Camp Counselor, Summer Camp of Our Lady of Mercy Parish (2024, 2025, 2026)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership and teamwork qualities that I bring both on and off the lacrosse field. As a member of the Athletic Directors Leadership Council, VP of the One Love Club, and incoming President for 2026, along with being a voluteer camp counselor, I have become a dependable teammate, a positive leader, and someone who values hard work, accountability, and the support of others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In July 2025, I suffered a contact ACL injury when going for a ground ball against a teammate in practice. In August 2025, I had ACL surgery. After 10 months of rehab, I am in the late stages of my return-to-play program. I am playing limited time (June 2026), and I am hoping to be fully cleared in July 2026. I have worked tireless during rehab and am ready to come back stronger and faster.
