2030 goalie Alexis Applefield showed some strong flashes during Sunday’s event. Late in the afternoon in the full-field games, she made a really nice lunging save on her stick side, then popped right back up and hit a teammate in stride up the sideline with a 25-yard outlet before the ride could get set. Applefield is a strong decision-maker on the clear, and she turned some key saves into offense for her team Sunday. She is another name I’ll be keeping an eye on over the next few seasons.
