About Leah

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is my quickness and quick hands, along with my coachability and mental toughness. As a goalie, I’m able to react quickly, make tough saves, and stay composed under pressure. These strengths show up throughout games, especially in high pressure moments when I need to react quickly and make big saves. I’m always willing to listen to coaching, make adjustments, and keep competing.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on becoming a more complete athlete by getting stronger, improving my clearing game, and developing more direct communication on the field. I’m focusing on making stronger, more accurate clears and being more confident and vocal when directing my defense.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a competitive program where the coaches and teammates push each other to get better. I want a school where I can do well academically while continuing to grow as a player. Most importantly, I want a team that feels like a family and a place where I can contribute and make an impact.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I’m hardworking, outgoing, and someone who genuinely cares about the people around me. I love going on adventures and spending time outdoors, and I enjoy playing basketball outside of lacrosse. I also love animals and being around my friends and family. I’m willing to put in the work even when no one is watching, and I always try to bring a positive attitude to everything I do. What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I’m interested in studying sport business, sport management, or sport psychology. I’m interested in a career connected to sports, potentially working in sports management, athletic administration, sports psychology, or another area where I can stay involved in the sports world.
