Brown was one of the biggest defensive standouts for Watertown. The sophomore never seemed to stop moving, sprinting up and down the field and giving maximum effort on every possession.
She came away with two ground balls and made several strong defensive plays throughout the game. What stood out most was her speed and ability to get the ball through transition, allowing her to stay involved in plays from start to finish. Brown has already totaled 50 career ground balls and over 30 caused turnovers, and she showed why she is a player to keep an eye on moving forward.
