About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fearless, tenacious, and flexible player who thrives on defense. I can play both defense and midfield and adapt to whatever my team needs. I bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and relentless energy every time I step on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hardworking, dedicated, and always willing to put in extra effort to improve both on and off the field. At the same time I enjoy having fun, building relationships with my teammates, and creating a positive environment for those around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Secretary of State Rhode Island Civic Leadership Award, National Honor Society , Assistance in Mission Scholarship Recipient ($2,500), Roger Williams University Women in Law RBG Essay Scholarship Award Winner, St. Vincent DePaul Service Scholarship Recipient ($500) Saint Genesius Scholarship for Artistic Excellence, Campus Ministry President, DECCA Vice Presient , 2x DECCA State Placer

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through working with many different people and balancing a variety of responsibilities. I enjoy bringing positive energy to a team, helping others feel included, and leading by example. These experiences have taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of being someone others can rely on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I have faced is managing my time because I enjoy being involved in many different activities. Balancing athletics, academics, leadership roles, and service commitments has taught me how to stay organized, prioritize my responsibilities, and make the most of my time.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a high academic, liberal arts school with a robust academic program and inclusive, supportive environment that fosters opportunities and new experiences. I am looking for a college where I can grow as a student, athelte and individual surrounded by like minded and deticated students.
